2021/10/21 – Congratulations to first-half winners Pig Pins (Mike, Mike, Louis, Paul)!
Fall season will start September 9 with an organizational meeting at 7pm, followed by the first night of bowling at (hopefully) 7:30. The Fall season will run 15 weeks, ending December 23 unless we vote otherwise or have storm/snow days.
Rules are always voted on at the meeting. Draft Rules are Here (with key points to vote on highlighted) Nightly fees will also be voted at the meeting, but will most likely be $20.
Currently, everyone must wear a mask while indoors within the city of Raleigh except while actively eating or drinking. This includes wearing masks while bowling.
We always have a lot of fun and we hope you can join us. See you Thursday at 7pm (behind the lanes on the bar side of the house).
Feel free to email email@example.com with any questions, or check us out on Facebook.
After ending our Spring season early, we’re not sure when we will start back up again.
Bowling centers will not be open until NC is in Phase 3, so Phase 3 is a minimum. To be safe with a 15-week season commitment we should probably wait until there has been sustained Phase 3 or higher, for multiple months.
Check our facebook page for further updates.
Fall season is underway! We have 8 teams but one team still needs two additional bowlers.
We bowl Thursdays at Pleasant Valley AMF with warm-up starting at 7:30pm.
If you are interested in bowling, or just learning more about the league, please check out our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/knqbowling/) and contact us there or by email at kingsqueensbowling @gmail.com
Congratulations to Thunder Balls (Damian, Laura, Ray, and Jeremy) for winning the spring 2019 season of Kings & Queens!

Bowljobs for the win! Jeff Strikers comes in 2nd. Git ‘er Done took a strong 3rd place after missing the first half win by maybe 1 pin on a roll-off and tying for overall season high points. The rest of the league rounded out like this:
4th – Christi Creams
5th – Unleashed!
6th – Pinhole Surfers
7th – Team 7
8th – Gutters R Us
Christopher Smith sportsmanship award – Christi Broadway and Steve Cooper
High average male – Christopher Moss
High average female – Buck Hilburn
If you know any awards we missed, pipe up in the comments. With the shorter season and no banquet it was all pretty much over before we knew we should keep track!
If you’re one of those bowling-in-summer types, check out the Greater Raleigh Rainbow League (GRRL) [May 24 7pm, bowl Wednesdays 7:30pm for 10 weeks, 4-person teams, mixed league, etc.] If not, you have all summer to think up the perfect bowling innuendo for your team name in the fall!
